The strip is made using CSP (Chip Scale Package) encapsulation technology which provides better colour consistency, higher luminous efficiency, lower thermal resistance, fewer heat transfer paths, and fewer possible points of failure. 

The small size of this strip means it can be used in almost all aluminium profiles whilst it's spotless performance means even very low and shallow profiles perform extremely well.
